First things first.
I would like to thank Norma Shilpi for inviting me to participate in the 5-Day Black & White Challenge. I really enjoyed her photos of the challenge. Must say, they had lot of variety and very impressive shots. Her blogs and stories are simple and fresh like morning dew, very expressive and connects easily with the readers. Let me confess, before she had invited me last week, i was not aware of this challenge. But now i am all excited to post few photos for this challenge for the next consecutive five days, starting this one.
Rules are very simple for the challenge: 1. Post a black & white photo everyday for consecutive 5 days, and 2. Invite someone to participate each day. Get going then.
So, here goes my shot for Day 1. I begin with nature today, which gives us so much, including the amazing opportunities for photography. Hence it must be our duty to preserve this beautiful our planet, in whatever small way we can in our own capacity. This is the best gift we can give to our coming generations.
Though I do not have lot of very good shots of flowers in my archives, i liked this one in particular. So, presenting it for your observation and ‘dissection’.
Next let me invite Archita from A Journey Called Life, who has a wonderful blog. She is a prolific writer and i enjoy her thoughts and stories about life and many random experiences – ‘unseen, unheard humane anecdotes’. Her photos are very impressive and creative. Most of the times, her photo blog has beautiful quotes, which enhances the serenity of her shots. Hope to see her participate so that we can enjoy some wonderful works of her.
Hope you enjoyed my post. Do share your comments and feedback, because your words ultimately help me refine and better my work. Keep watching this space for next four days for more black & white photos…!!!

Thank you for this beautiful post, Suyash, and for inspiring me to write from the heart this morning: https://forestgardenblog.wordpress.com/2015/03/07/12299/ You have a profound perspective on the world, and I’m so appreciative that you share it 😉

I feel so glad after reading your wonderful post. Its such a motivating work of words with visualization, the way you have depicted the deteriorating marine life in our seas. I liked that. Where will animals and birds go when their habitat is destroyed – I thought its a similar question to where will humans go after their environment and planet is destroyed. Food for thought..??? 😉 😉
Thank you so much your thoughts provoking post with beautiful photos. And thank you for your kind intro about me and my post. Feels humbled 🙂

I always enjoy spending time on your blog, Suyash, and your commentary with these black and white photos is especially poignant. History must no longer be written only by the Victors- let all of us have a voice in recording our world 😉 Best wishes, WG

I agree completely with you. Each one of us has a role to play here. Sooner, all realizes, better it is for planet.
I am glad you liked my posts and the narration. Have a great week:)
