5 Day Black & White Challenge: Day 4

Minnesota State Fair

Like a merry-go-round, our planet is also so much fun and exciting. New experiences to be gathered, so many places to visit, new memories to be etched and still one can keep circling the face of this beautiful planet, without getting tired. In fact, one life time is practically insufficient to see every corner and wander every land. There is always this craving to travel more and explore the unexplored.

Today’s photo was clicked on the last day of the Minnesota State Fair 2014. There was so much to do there, variety of food to be tasted, adventurous rides and animal shows, lots of free collectibles, and plethora of information to be gathered about the animals and farming. Undoubtedly, it was one of the biggest fair i have been to so far. A huge ocean of mankind had descended upon the fair. We were simply awestruck and often lost, literally.

So, this photo was part of the 5 Day Black & White Challenge. Today being the 4th day of the challenge, i am loving this idea of posting a b&w photo everyday, since last 4 days. Rules are fairly simple: 1. Post a black & white photo everyday for consecutive 5 days, and 2. Invite someone to participate each day. So, what are you waiting for? You all are invited to be part of it. Find my Day 1Day 2, Day 3 photos here.

Let me invite today Jennifer Thorpe from Eye Candy Visionz. In her own words, she describes herself as an ‘amateur photographer sharing her visions through her own eyes’. I visited her photo site recently, all credit to our favorite Weekly Photo Challenge. Her photographs are very beautiful and so varied. I enjoy her shots very much. The way she has organized her site and the photos are another big attraction to visit her blogs. I wish she accepts my invitation to participate in this B&W challenge so that we can enjoy her shots.

Let me thank Norma Shilpi for inviting me to participate in the 5-Day Black & White Challenge.

Aaaaaaaaah, I love this one :)!!! Even though you always think of fairs being very colourful – this is a new way of looking at it! The edges and everything seem to be so sharp that it’s a tiny step away from being a hauntingly scary picture 😀 Well done!!!

    • Hehehe…I like your thoughts and your perspective. I agree that sometimes in monochrome, similar known shots, can look so different. Never thought of being scary though. Glad you put a different dimension to the shot.

Thank you so much dear 🙂

This is just stunning, Suyash. 🙂 The angle works so well to define your views of the world being a merry-go-round.
