Omnipresence

“Four days back, i had a job discussion which was satisfactory and i was fairly optimistic about it. My mind was still thinking about it till noon. I told my mind not to focus so much on today’s job discussion. So, what do I do? My room was almost full of bright sunlight coming by window. Sun still has two hours until night rolls in. Twilight is always a good hour to shoot colorful sky, I thought. I had a good day till now. Why not finish it grandly? I took a stroll around this pond to fix a good shooting point for my ‘mirror’. I shot many photos that dusk. But my pick is this photo with gradual fading colors. How do you find this shot? Your opinion is as usual paramount.”

Did you notice anything unusual in the above paragraph, except that it’s in quotes? Or do you want to read it again? Hmmm. May be, read between the words (or let’s say between alphabets) this time.

I have tried something like this for the first time in my life – write a small paragraph without the supposedly omnipresent alphabet ‘E’ of the English language. It was quite a challenge but i really enjoyed it. And the credit for inviting me to this challenge “Allergic to E” goes to my blogging friend, Ramsey T @ramseytea, who loves to travel, cook and photograph. If you want to try out this challenge, here are the rules: 1) Write a whole paragraph (a paragraph sounds easy right?) without any word containing the letter “e” (still easy for ya?). 2) By reading this you are already signed up. 3) Challenge at least five bloggers to do the challenge. They must do it within 24 hours or it is considered as failure (which happened with me as i was occupied with other important stuffs. After two days, when i had time, i decided to nail it down). 4) If you fail or pass, suffer in the Page of Lame. 5) If you win, wallow in the Page of Fame.
