  3. We’ve visited a lot of battle sites and war memorials over the last couple of years, and it is striking how visitors, films, exhibits focus on tactics and weaponry, as if this wasn’t about mass slaughter. Great application of this theme.

    • Rightly said. Every war is a license to kill, be it the Victor or the losing side. Men are killed, wives are widowed and children orphaned. That’s the ultimate truth of a war.
